Community Service, Skills and Experience
I have been an active member of the Apex Club of Goondiwindi since 2011 when I was inducted after being involved since May the previous year. Apex has been an integral part of my life ever since and with this, I have been able to leverage experiences and skills between my Apex life, my work life and my personal life. Not only have I been able to create a balance between my work and Apex roles, it has brought me great friendships and connections within our local and broader communities. Within my Apex career I have undertaken almost all directorships at our local club level, including executive roles of President and Treasurer, and I am currently the club director for service and social. I also served in the role of Regional communicator for our region in 2018/2019. I have been a financial member of Apex Camps since 2019 and have been active on the board since 2020.
I am also on the board for the Goondiwindi Motorsport Association as the treasurer (the Goondiwindi Motorsport Association are involved in offroad racing and run the Goondiwindi 500 offroad racing event each year). Within the local Goondiwindi Community, I have also been involved with the helping to establish the Goondiwindi Men's shed and I was involved with the running of a local agricultural field day for many years.
My professional career has progressed and changed over time, after completing a degree with honors in 2001 in Agricultural Science and working within the sector as a research and field technician and then moving into an agronomy role. From that role I progressed onto becoming a manager for a rural merchandise business. Within the agricultural sector I have also worked as a regional Sales respresentaive for several years. I then moved career paths into Transport and logistics. I spent the last 8 years as an Operations Manager for a Transport and Crane business. Recently I changed employment onto another business as a logistics manager.
Hobbies and Interests
On a personal level, I have a few hobbies. These include fishing, four-wheel driving, renovating, Golf and Offroad Racing.

Our History
1983
Started from humble beginnings in 1983 when a group of civic minded Apexians from the local area wanted to provide the opportunity to engage the local community in the camp experience.
In 2013 we took over a lease on a former Queensland Government Active Recreation Centre on Magnetic Island (Apex Camps Magnetic Island), offering guests a unique island adventure off the coast of Townsville.
2013
2017-2018
In 2017, Apex Camps Sunshine Coast began running a School Holiday Drop-Off Program for kids aged 5-17, along with outdoor adventure Birthday Parties. In 2018, the camp also began running Corporate and Group Activities for group outdoor experiences and team building events.
